Cliftonville Antrim Road CEP


The Cliftonville Antrim Road CEP (Community Empowerment Partnership) was set up in 2003 and was originally called the Cliftonville CEP. It is one of 13 CEPs in north Belfast.



Based at 185 Cliftonpark Avenue, it covers the greater Cliftonville and Cavehill/Antrim Road areas.
The aim of the Cliftonville Antrim Road CEP is to encourage and empower the community to work toward lasting change and to improve the quality of life for everyone in north Belfast.

The programmes that are delivered by the CEP aim to create a community which is open, accountable and sustainable.

What does the CEP do?

* Provides training workshops
* Runs a housing advice clinic
* Works with young people
* Runs groups for older people and women
* Sets up residents groups and committees
* Provides advice and information
* Provides health programmes
* Produces a free monthly newsletter called Community Action
